I work with midlife professionals whose lives are being reshaped by events they didn’t choose – illness, bereavement, caring responsibilities, relationship breakdown, midlife reinvention, the emotional shift into retirement, or unexpected change.

People who appear steady on the outside but are quietly asking: How can I get through this? Who am I now? What matters now? What can I do?

Clients describe our sessions as spacious, grounding, and quietly transformative.

Before becoming a coach, I spent fourteen years in a global blue chip, having an international career, I left as a Vice President.

I learned how organisations work, how people behave under pressure, and how identity can become tightly woven into performance.

I discovered I love coaching, and I wanted a different kind of life. So I set up my own coaching business. Continuously learning, training and developing my expertise.

And then life changed.

I experienced a cascade of serious life events over a number of years – sudden heart failure, both my parents suffering horrible deaths, my son becoming chronically ill, and I received two cancer diagnoses (both early and treatable). Each event was challenging, together, they dismantled my sense of self. There were times when I didn’t know how to cope with what was happening or how to move forward.

I tried many forms of therapy. Some helped.

Ultimately, it was coaching — deep, reflective, metaphor‑based coaching —that helped me to continue working and learn to thrive despite it all.

I became wiser, steadier, more grounded, and more fully alive.

This is why I do the work I do.

This is why my clients can bring anything to their sessions.

This is why I believe in coaching.

And why I created:

TUAYA – Turn Up As You Are – represents the core principle of how I work.

However you are, how you really are – not the public or social media version of yourself – you are welcome. You don’t have to pretend, perform, or be strong.

Tuaya is a place to:

  • breathe
  • be seen and heard
  • speak without protecting anyone else
  • connect with the truth of yourself
  • notice what matters
  • make sense of, or accept, what is happening
  • explore what you want
  • create a future that feels aligned and meaningful

A coaching space, to find your own solutions, to look forward and create the future you want

Just bring yourself

That’s enough.

During more than two decades of coaching, I have been continuously studying and training.

Amongst all that I have learnt, my favourite tools are Clean Language and Symbolic Modelling — powerful and respectful, helping you access your own metaphors and inner logic, creating deep insight, clarity, and sustainable change.

I also bring:

  • a senior global corporate background
  • lived experience of major life events and transitions
  • ongoing professional development (a coach is never finished learning)
  • my own commitment to being a coaching client — always ask your coach if they have a coach

You can find my qualifications and professional history on LinkedIn if that’s helpful.

Professionals in their midlife and beyond — who are:

  • navigating illness, bereavement, caring, or relationship change
  • experiencing the emotional shift into retirement
  • rethinking who they are and what matters now
  • longing for clarity, steadiness, and meaning
  • ready for a new chapter, even if they don’t yet know what it looks like
  • tired of being strong for everyone else

If this is you, or someone in your organisation, you’re in the right place.
